A young, queer artist from Melbourne/Naarm, Tamara delves into the realm of self-reflexive eroticism through her diverse artistic mediums - painting, drawing, sculpture, and video performance. Her bold and thought-provoking work pushes back against traditional societal standards, exalting female strength and physical indulgence. Embracing an interdisciplinary method, Tamara skillfully explores the nuanced facets of sex, identity, and pleasure, striving to make these once-taboo topics mainstream in art. Drawing inspiration from the annals of Western art history, she steadfastly challenges the dominant male perspective, opting instead for a gray area that melds the feminine and queer viewpoints - a stance that fosters personal sovereignty, selfhood, and allure, catalyzing a newfound era of exploration and empowerment in feminine sensuality.
